What is LANTITE?

The Australian Government has introduced the Literacy and Numeracy Test for Initial Teacher Education (LANTITE).

• All students are required to attempt both the literacy and numeracy tests during their first year of study (or full-time equivalent). This is a national requirement for all initial teacher education students in Australia.
• Successful completion of both tests is required before enrolling in your final professional experience placement.
• Successful completion of both tests is also required to graduate, register, or be employed under an Authority to Teach.
