Essential downloads for mentors and pre-service teachers

Pre-service teachers and mentor teachers must download the following documents to guide the planning, teaching and assessment of placements:

  1. Requirements and guidelines – Outlines expectations, responsibilities and key processes for evidence collection throughout the placement.
  2. Professional experience reports – Includes both the Interim Report (completed midway through the placement) and the Final Report (completed at the end of the placement).

Submitting reports

Before submitting reports, ensure the following steps are completed:

  1. Review and sign – Both the pre-service teacher and the mentor must review and sign the completed report.
  2. Upload to Learnline – The pre-service teacher must upload the signed report to Learnline before proceeding with email submission.
  3. Email for validation – The pre-service teacher must email the uploaded report (as one email) to the following stakeholders:
    • Placement Unit Coordinator
    • Mentor Teacher(s)
    • WIL Placement Office (inschool@cdu.edu.au)
    • Professional Experience Supervisor

This process ensures that all parties can validate and finalise the report in a timely manner.
