CDU offers a range of student support services to help you confidently complete your studies.

Financial support

CDU’s scholarships provide you with incredible opportunities and financial support to reach your full potential. With a range of scholarships covering up to 50% of tuition fees, international students can make their dreams to study in Australia come true.

The Buddy Program

When you first arrive in Australia, you may feel overwhelmed. CDU’s Buddy Program is designed to assist you with your transition to study. Be paired with a current student who will provide friendly and practical assistance, establish a supportive network for you and help you integrate into the CDU community.

Accommodation support

CDU offers a free and confidential service providing information and advice on housing options, tenancy advice and support and assistance with accommodation problems. Explore on-campus and off-campus accommodation options with CDU's Accommodation Services.

Visa compliance support

Your student visa is the document issued to you by the Department of Home Affairs that allows you to enter Australia to study. CDU’s dedicated International Compliance team is available to assist you with compliance around your visa requirements.

Support during your studies

Academic and language support

Free and confidential language and learning support is available to all students throughout their time at University. One-on-one support will help you to understand the requirements of assignments, develop your study skills and assist you with exam preparation.

In addition to this, free study skills workshops are available for all students. These workshops cover topics including study strategies, exams, assignment types and academic writing. With an array of online resources, staying organised and connected with others is easy.

Social opportunities

At CDU, you will make friends that you’ll keep for a lifetime. In addition to the people you’ll meet during events and in class, the CDU Student Association offers an extensive range of clubs. Offering everything from sports and exercise to magic and religion, find a club that appeals to you.
