Arriving in Australian from India, Isha is proud to be following her dream. She knows that a career in teaching will bring her joy.  

With an academic background and experience in statistics, Showkat knew that a Master of Data Science would be a great way to grow her career. Since arriving at CDU, Showkat has gained valuable experience in STEM.

Carolina is passionate about helping organisations succeed in the digital world and supporting women to succeed in STEM careers. She’s leading by example. 

As a teenager, Hannah wanted to become a teacher. When she failed to get the necessary scores to go to university, she parked that dream. Years later, while working in a school, Hannah’s teaching passion was reborn.

Anh Thu Mai (Sophia) always planned on being a teacher. By studying a Bachelor in Secondary Education at CDU she’s well on the way to achieving her goal. 

Nagendra arrived in Australia from Tikapur in Nepal to further his education and pursue a dream career. Four years later, he’s a proud CDU graduate with a Masters of Professional Accounting. 

When Fanie came to Australia from Vietnam, she initially worked in hotel management. It was during this time she became interested in accounts. Her decision to study a Master of Professional Accounting at CDU was the next progression in her career. 

Victor always wanted to travel overseas, so the chance to study his Masters of Information Technology in Darwin was a dream come true. But Victor isn’t the only one who has benefitted from this move. Taking this opportunity for himself, he’s given back to others.

Alina found her passion for volunteering while studying at Charles Darwin University. Since then she has founded her own student group, hosted self-defence events, received the Northern Territory Volunteer of the year award and been named a finalist of the CDU Alumni Awards.
