Ba Fa Wu Bu

If you wish to start your Tai Chi journey, this Ba Fa Wu Bu Tai Chi form is the best choice for you.

Our Tai Chi instructor, Mr Hanlin Lu, holds a Master of Physical Education degree from Anhui Normal University, majoring in Physical Education Teaching. Hanlin possesses extensive teaching experience, specialising in many Tai Chi forms, such as Yang-style and Chen-style Tai Chi, Five-Animal Frolics, as well as other forms of health Qigong.

Ba Fa Wu Bu Tai Chi extracts the eight key techniques of Tai Chi, namely, "Peng (ward-off), Lü (roll-back), Ji (press), An (push), Cai (pluck), Lie (split), Zhou (elbow), Kao (shoulder strike)", and combines with the five basic footwork patterns: "Jin (advance), Tui (retreat), Gu (look left), Pan (look right), Ding (settle)". It simplifies complex moves to better fit the practice rhythm of modern people.

Ba Fa Wu Bu Tai Chi practice can clear the body's meridians, balance qi and blood, and effectively relieve shoulder and neck stiffness, assist in easing chronic pain; fostering mindfulness, relaxing the body, boosting vitality, and improving overall health and quality of life. Slow-motion movements can also calm anxiety, ease stress and improve concentration. Beyond the physical benefits, it also offers a meaningful journey towards inner peace and tranquility.

Suitable for beginners of all ages. Join us to learn standard movements from CDU CI professional instructors!
