The CDU Confucius Institute is now offering a new course, Chinese calligraphy for beginners, on the CDU Casuarina campus every Tuesday from 5 pm - 6 pm, from 27 January to 31 March.
Join us for our unique 1 hour weekly Chinese calligraphy workshops designed for all skill levels! Every session will allow you to explore the rich history of Chinese calligraphy, learn about the writing tools, and practice basic brush strokes. We’ll also introduce you to the art of different calligraphy styles, and you’ll find yourself creating your own artwork after just a few sessions! Whether you’re a beginner or looking to upgrade your skills, this is the right workshop for you.
Ten sessions will be delivered.
Applicable to people with any Chinese calligraphy level or zero knowledge of Chinese calligraphy.
Free for CDU staff and students.
