Everything you need to know about graduating at CDU.
Charles Darwin University takes great pride in sharing this opportunity to celebrate and acknowledge publicly your achievement in a graduation ceremony.
Students participating in university graduation ceremonies join a rich tradition, which dates back to the 12th Century. The ceremony, presided over by the Chancellor, serves as the official conferral of awards obtained by students. Prior to the ceremony they are “graduands” – those eligible to graduate - but upon conferral they become graduates.
If you are unable to attend the ceremony your award is conferred in absentia and your testamur will be mailed to you two to three weeks after the ceremony or you can collect it from Student Central at CDU Casuarina campus.
The duration of the graduation ceremony is approximately one and a half hours.
Please note: it is important that you register before the advertised closing time to ensure you can participate in the ceremony.
We will live stream the graduation events. For details about what time to tell your family and friends to tune in, please check the graduation dates ceremony schedule.
