Animal ethics training dates and venues
|Casuarina||9am - 1pm||6 December 2019|
|2020 dates will be updated once available|
If you wish to attend any of the listed training sessions, please complete and submit the registration form to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note that submission of a registration form does not guarantee a position in a training course. Attendee numbers are limited for each session and priority is given to people requiring training as soon as possible. Confirmation emails will be sent out prior to each workshop and those who cannot be accommodated will be placed on a waitlist.
While it is preferable for investigators to attend animal ethics training provided by CDU, the AEC may also accept equivalent training delivered by another institution or organisation. In these circumstances, proof of training attendance is required.
CDU does not currently deliver skills competency training for specific animal-related procedures but the Animal Welfare Officer can offer advice on how this training could be obtained.
The Animal Welfare Officer may also be available on request to deliver training in the use of Schedule 4 and Schedule 8 drugs.
